Lips Too Chilled (Little Black Classics #62) - Matsuo Bashō
"Lips too chilled
for prattle -
autumn wind."

"Come, let's go
snow-viewing
till we're buried."

"If I'd the knack
I'd sing like
cherry flakes falling."

These are just some of my favorite haiku from this book's mini collection of Basho's work. It was my first time reading some of his works and it was really refreshing. The changing of seasons, the mundane life, and the beauty of nature; these are the basic themes of Basho's haiku. In conclusion, I really liked it.
