To All the Boys I've Loved Before
To All the Boys I've Loved Before - Jenny Han
"I think I see the difference now, between loving someone from afar and loving someone up close. When you see them up close, you see the real them, but they also get to see the real you."

I love the fact the story didn't just revolve around Lara Jean's romance but also focused on familial relationships. It's such a light and cute read that you'd just tear through the pages of this book.

Eleanor & Park
Eleanor & Park - Rainbow Rowell
I am absolutely, undoubtedly and undeniably in love with this book. The story is so simple if you really think about it. Two young teenagers fell in love for the first time. But as simple as it may sounds, what makes the whole book beautiful is how the emotions were portrayed. How "real" the characters were. How real their feelings were. I just ran out of things to say about this book. It's just amazingly written! This'll definitely be one of my all-time favorite books!

(Thank God for bringing Rainbow Rowell to this world! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, RAINBOW!!!! AAAAAAHH!!!)

Hollow City - Ransom Riggs
Holy crap. Fans of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children won't be disappointed in this book!It was an absolute thrilling and enthralling adventure. If I'm gonna summarize it into just a word: awe-fucking-some!!!

Note: Enoch is so fucking annoying I want to punch him in the throat throughout the whole book.

P.S. Prepare yourself for Chapter 13. That's one hell of a chapter!! Oh what a way to end such a good book AND LEAVE ME HANGING AND WANTING MORE!!!! (i srsly can't wait for the next book ok *cries*)

The Realm of Possibility
The Realm of Possibility - David Levithan
"You think you know your possibilities
Then other people come into
your life
and suddenly there are so many
more."

I have always loved David Levithan's writing style. And combining that with free-versed poems exhibited such a powerful book of overflowing emotions.

Talking Pictures: Images and Messages Rescued from the Past - Ransom Riggs
"The passage of time makes old photographs more than just someone else's memories. When names and faces are forgotten, they pass into collective memory. In a sense, they belong to all of us."

The Time Traveler's Wife
The Time Traveler's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger
"But I have no choice. He is coming, and I am here."

I unquestionably fell in love with this book and and have greatly enjoyed reading every page of it. The mystery of it all. The concept of time traveling. The characters. The emotions. The longing. The pain. The love. All well written by the author. This certainly is a book one must read before s/he dies.

The Spectacular Now
The Spectacular Now - Tim Tharp
“Goodbye, I say, goodbye, as I disappear little by little into the middle of the middle of my own spectacular now.”

I love this book! Sutter is such a great character. There is so much going on in his life but he chooses to embrace the weird and the "now". He just doesn't care about tomorrow. But all of that gradually change when he met Aimee. I'm a sucker for YA romance and at first I expected for this to be one but no, it's not. Still, it's such a good book about self-discovery and character development.

“Besides, it doesn’t matter if it’s real. It never does with dreams. They aren’t anything anyway but lifesavers to cling to so you don’t drown. Life is an ocean, and most everyone’s hanging on to some kind of dream to keep afloat”

Red Rackham's Treasure - Hergé
"All's well that ends well!"

I enjoyed reading this one probably because of the added hilarity in the form of Professor Calculus! His character is just plain annoying and funny!

This was a fun and enjoyable read. It was nice that Hergé placed some realistic scenarios and details in his drawings and stories.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children - Ransom Riggs
“I used to dream about escaping my ordinary life, but my life was never ordinary. I had simply failed to notice how extraordinary it was."

I seriously don't know the words to say to explain how great this book was! I love the writing. I love how the creepy and disturbing yet really vital pictures helped in the development of the book.
The uniqueness of the story, the characters and their development, the twists and the mysteries are all worth it. Reading this book is quite and adventure and I loved it! A must-read!

Romeo and Juliet
Romeo and Juliet - SparkNotes Editors, William Shakespeare
"Some shall be pardoned, and some punished.
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Juliet and her Romeo."

There's no question that this book need not a review anymore. It's such a classic telling of two star-crossed lovers bound by their love for each other in such a complex and cruel world.

Will Grayson, Will Grayson
Will Grayson, Will Grayson - 'John Green', 'David Levithan'
A book written by John Green and David Levithan? Who am I to question that? Actually, no one is allowed to question that. This book is hilarious (I literally laugh out loud while reading this book), raw, emotional and just plain brilliant!
