Lips Too Chilled (Little Black Classics #62)
Lips Too Chilled (Little Black Classics #62) - Matsuo Bashō
"Lips too chilled
for prattle -
autumn wind."

"Come, let's go
snow-viewing
till we're buried."

"If I'd the knack
I'd sing like
cherry flakes falling."

These are just some of my favorite haiku from this book's mini collection of Basho's work. It was my first time reading some of his works and it was really refreshing. The changing of seasons, the mundane life, and the beauty of nature; these are the basic themes of Basho's haiku. In conclusion, I really liked it.

Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between
Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between - Jennifer E. Smith
“Sometimes the hardest things are the ones most worth doing.”

I'm still having feels as I write this review. (Ahhhhh!!) I seriously think that Jennifer Smith has never wrote anything bad throughout her whole writing career. I've yet to read Geography Of You and Me but I firmly believe that it'll be amazing like her three other books.

This book gave me sad feels the whole time I was reading it. This whole "let's-break-up-because-we're-going-to-college-and-things-might-not-work-out-if-we-try-to-stay-together" thing is depressing because it does happen to the lot of us. Elaine and Aidan had a couple of hours left to spend their last day in town together so the book is composed of series of stops: each with significant meaning to both of them.

I remember feeling sadder and sadder as I read one stop at a time. But it was all worth the heartache in the end. Right now, my feels are still all over the place and I'm just trying to sound composed as I type everything. Haha!

Jennifer Smith, you never fail to amaze me and give me lots of feels. *sighs*

Memories
Memories - Lang Leav
"...And I would question if there were others just like me, who had found themselves caught in your orbit. Whether I was just another celestial body, sent up from the ground; when the moon -- the original satellite -- is the only one you see from where you're standing." -Virtual Love

I just absolutely love Lang Leav. I really do. Her words always find a way to tug my heart, bring a smile to my face, and make me fall in love with words more and more.

I can say that almost everything written here (though most are from Love and Misadventure and Lullabies) are my favorites but this one poem called Virtual Love just connects to me in so many ways. I love it.

Thank you, Lang, for the gift of your wonderful words.

Red Queen
Red Queen - Victoria Aveyard
"Anyone can betray anyone."

This quote from the book is one of the main highlights of the novel. You cannot and should not trust anyone, at least not so easily. Reds and Silvers. This is how the country is divided. The lowly and rhe royalties. The servants and the Gods. But, just like other stories, there is something, someone, in between the two. The bearer of change... The protagonist, Mare Barrow (please don't get me started with her name because I don't like it very much), a Red, was deemed a lost cause until her life went upside down and is now supposed to spend her life pretending that she is now a Silver; a life she has always been resenting, the palace using her as a pawn against the Red rebels, the Scarlet Guard.

The twists and neverending betrayals on this book kind of gave me a headache but it surprised me in a good way all the same. The ending is just ASHFJSHAJSKA. It's an ending that will make you want to read the next book so bad because you want to know what will happen next. Major UGH.

Giving this book 4 stars because even though I liked and enjoyed it, I still feel that there is something lacking from the whole book. I just can't put my finger around it.

Vector Prime
Vector Prime - R.A. Salvatore
If you're a Star Wars fan like I am, then this book is a definite must-read for you! There were times that I find the story slow and/or dragging but it was still a great read.

It was well-written and was as detailed as can be. I didn't actually know about the series until a very good friend (who is also a Star Wars geek) recommended it to me.

In conclusion, I loved it and I will definitely continue reading the series :)

Ready Player One
Ready Player One - Ernest Cline
I abso-fucking-lutely LOVE this amazing book! Just the mere amount of nerdgasm and geekiness on this book is overwhelming but it it's what makes the whole book so awesome.

I currently have no words to say about how amazeballs this book is. It just blew my mind chapter per chapter.

Note: Will edit this review to make it more comprehensive than this fangirl-induced one. Lol

The Fangirl's Guide to the Galaxy: A Lexicon of Life Hacks for the Modern Lady Geek - Sam Maggs
An "okay" but rather entertaining read. I am a fangirl myself so I can connect immediately with Sam Maggs. Most of the things written here though, I know already. But the main focus of this book is empowering feminism which is good but goes over-the-top sometimes, I think.

This series just keeps on getting better and better! Aside from Kaneki, I'm totally in love with Touka-chan for being such a badass. I miss Hide though. He's such an interesting character. More more more Tokyo Ghoul for me!
